“Never quit! If you let the devil convict you and you quit too soon, then God is not guilty!” – Pastor Tayo Obigbesan.

My Background
My name is Temitayo Obigbesan, and I have the incredible privilege of serving as the Senior Pastor and founder of Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries in Aurora, Colorado. My journey in ministry has been one of faith, purpose, and unwavering commitment to serving God’s people. Before stepping into this calling, I spent nearly a decade leading Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, also in Aurora, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of faith in the lives of so many.
More than four decades ago, I made one of the best decisions of my life—marrying my beautiful wife, Evangelist Marion Obigbesan, who has been my rock, my confidant, and my greatest source of encouragement. Together, we have built a family filled with love, joy, and the blessings of grown children and grandchildren who continue to remind us of God’s grace. Through every season, I have seen how God restores, renews, and empowers, and I remain committed to guiding others in their own walk of faith.
My Call into the Ministry
In 1986, I had a dream that forever changed the course of my life and ministry. In that vision, I saw a long line of people standing before a massive prison, awaiting judgment. The prison officials interrogated them one by one, determining their fate. As I watched, I noticed something striking—though the people were bound in chains, they continued to engage in immorality, unaware of the depths of their captivity.
Then, out of nowhere, an elderly man appeared and called me by name: “Tayo.” He pointed to the chained souls and asked, “Do you see these people? Even in their bondage, they are lost.” I answered that I did, and he responded with a divine charge: “I want to use you to set them free.”
I was overwhelmed. “Sir, how can I free them when the ones holding them captive are so powerful?” I asked. Without hesitation, the man disappeared momentarily and returned with a weapon, handing it to me. “You will need this to defeat those who imprison them. Once they are gone, the captives will be free.” And just like that, he vanished, and I awoke.
That very year, I felt the undeniable call to serve in spiritual warfare and deliverance ministry. The Lord led me to Christ Authority and Evangelical Ministry, where I dedicated six years to fighting for the liberation of souls. In 1992, I was called to join Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, where my ministry deepened. Then, in May 2012, by God’s grace and divine approval, Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries was born—a place where restoration, healing, and spiritual freedom remain at the heart of our mission.
Our Vision and Mission
At Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries, we are driven by a singular vision—to see lives transformed through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in equipping individuals to reclaim their spiritual freedom through prayer, fasting, and unwavering commitment to their faith (John 10:10).
Our mission is clear: to bring deliverance to those held captive by spiritual bondage and to illuminate the truth behind life’s struggles. Whether facing personal battles or unseen forces, we guide believers in understanding the power that sustains them—the Holy Spirit, along with the name and blood of Jesus Christ (Revelation 12:11, Micah 3:8). Through teaching, prayer, and spiritual warfare, we empower Christians to overcome adversity and stand firm in their faith.
Community Partnerships and Ministry Initiatives
At Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries, our mission of healing and deliverance is not a one-person task—it’s a collective calling. For over a decade, we’ve joined hands with fellow ministries like the Shepherd of the Rockies Lutheran Church in Bailey, Park County, Colorado, to minister to those facing spiritual challenges and illnesses. Our monthly prayer and teaching sessions are a living testament to our shared commitment, ensuring that no one stands alone in their battle against spiritual oppression.
I am deeply grateful for the steadfast support of my dedicated and spirit-filled associate pastors, Pastors David Abraham and Ray Schiffer. Together, we strive to extend the grace of restoration across our communities, and I continually lift them in prayer for strength and guidance on this sacred journey.
Faith in Today’s World
In an ever-changing world, CLRM guides our congregation in striking a balance between unwavering faith and modern realities. We encourage believers to deeply understand the Word of God they profess, allowing His wisdom to shape their thoughts, decisions, and actions. Through knowledge and spiritual strength, they will not only stand firm but also accomplish great things.
The Role of Worship and Cultural Identity
Worship is central to our ministry—it strengthens deliverance, deepens healing, and fosters connection. CLRM takes a culturally grounded approach to spiritual outreach, addressing the unique needs of people of African descent and other community members. Our monthly deliverance and healing services, quarterly conferences, and the powerful Breakthrough Power Program—held on the first day of every month—equip individuals with spiritual strength to face life’s challenges.
Challenges in Our Mission
One of our biggest obstacles is encouraging individuals to commit their time to attending church services and ministry programs. In a fast-paced world, it can be difficult to prioritize faith and fellowship, but we remain dedicated to inspiring deeper engagement.
Transformation and Testimonies
We have seen the hand of God work miracles in our ministry. A woman once burdened with breast cancer was completely healed. Families once plagued by poverty have found prosperity. Couples once struggling with barrenness have welcomed children into their homes. Each testimony is a reminder of God’s power, and we give Him all the glory.
Through our youth ministry, we instill wisdom in the next generation, reminding them that their choices shape their future. As Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
What Sets CLRM Apart
We are a church with a unique mission—deeply committed to spiritual warfare, liberation, and restoration. CLRM is a teaching ministry where truth is spoken, hearts are healed, and lives are restored.
Inspiring the Next Generation
In a digital age, more people believe that listening to a sermon online is enough. But Scripture reminds us of the power of fellowship: “Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another…” (Hebrews 10:24-25). CLRM urges believers, especially the younger generation, to experience faith in community—to grow spiritually, serve actively, and strengthen their connection with God.
Unity and Inclusion in Our Church
Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries embraces the call for unity. As Jesus prayed in John 17:20-21, “…that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You.” This principle of togetherness guides our leadership and ministry. We seek to build an inclusive, supportive, and spiritually rich environment where every believer finds belonging.
Our Vision for the Future
By the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries is committed to expanding its ministry to provide ongoing support and healing for those seeking deliverance. We are establishing a weekly healing and deliverance program where individuals can come before the Lord in prayer, seeking freedom and restoration.
Additionally, we are launching a one-hour midday prayer gathering from Monday to Friday. Whether in person or online, participants will join together in faith, breaking strongholds and standing firm against the forces that seek to disrupt their spiritual journeys. Our goal is to make deliverance and spiritual empowerment accessible to all, no matter where they are.
My Favorite Book and Bible Quotes
One of the books of the Bible that has had the greatest impact on my journey is the Gospel of John, which beautifully captures Jesus’ divinity, His love, and His unwavering mission to redeem humanity. The Gospel of John offers a uniquely profound portrayal of Jesus Christ, presenting His words with unmatched clarity. Within its pages, we find His heartfelt prayer for believers (John 17), underscoring a vital principle in spiritual warfare—unity.
In chapters 14-16, Jesus unveils His deep relationship with the Holy Spirit, explaining His divine role in guiding, strengthening, and transforming the lives of believers. Through these passages, we see how the Spirit empowers faith and fortifies the soul against spiritual trials.
Above all, John declares Jesus as the Light—the eternal truth that darkness cannot overcome (John 1:5). In this powerful revelation, we grasp the unstoppable nature of Christ’s presence, a beacon of hope that shines despite all forces seeking to dim its radiance.
I also hold several powerful Bible verses close to my heart because they shape our understanding of our position in Christ. Three, in particular, inspire my ministry and message:
- Matthew 11:12 – “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” This passage urges believers to stand boldly in their faith, embracing spiritual assertiveness in the face of demonic opposition. Victory comes to those who fight the good fight with divine authority.
- Daniel 11:32 – “But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” This verse serves as a guiding principle for my congregation, reminding us that true strength comes from knowing and understanding God. Through Him, great things can be accomplished.
- Micah 3:8 – “But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, and of justice and might…” This verse affirms the divine empowerment that comes through the Holy Spirit, calling on believers to walk in boldness and truth as they fulfill their calling.
Leaving a Legacy of Faith and Restoration
If there is one way I would love to be remembered, it is as a faithful servant of God—one who dedicated his life to deliverance, healing, and the restoration of souls. I hope that Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries continues to be a refuge for those seeking spiritual renewal and a beacon of light for generations to come.
